A message from Jane:
As a seasoned news and sports broadcast journalist, storytelling is at the core of my work and is what has driven my passion for more than 30 years. Now, I am helping others tell and preserve their stories through Your Story. Your Legacy.
In 1991, when my father was ill with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), he told me, “Before I die, I want to tell my life story.” Home on emergency leave, I interviewed him with a home video camera while his voice was still strong. He died two and a half years later. Our family has more than five hours of wonderful recorded stories to remind us of him. Twenty years later, I produced a half-hour show for my mother’s 90th birthday party. As part of the Mitchell video archives, my daughter, Lily, will have these to learn about her grandparents. I want to help others do the same for their family, as my father said, “before it’s too late.”
Consider a timeless and priceless investment that will pay dividends of the heart for decades to come.
