The British are thrilled with their Gold Rush… a phenomenal display of excellence indeed. But, one of the big topics a-buzz is the USA’s Men’s basketball team. The sport is played in many countries, but with the internet and ways to tune in to American sports coverage year round — and especially watching them out-perform other countries by big margins this past week — locals are showing and talking about being a fan of the game, and specifically, members of the US Dream Team 2012.
Meet two fans I came across…Danny, and his friend Dan. The jersey was my first clue. And Vicky Amaning, an aspiring sports journalist, who was bubbling over as we chatted about the Olympics.
If Kobe sees this, maybe he’ll give Danny a shot. If not, at least he’ll know he as a dedicated fan wearing his jersey in the cool London weather cheering him on.
