This summer at the Book Expo in New York City, I talked with a lot of people who stopped by the booth where I was posted with a stack of my book. Of course, if they were sports fans, the conversation continued, and I made my pitch as to why my book transcends a zip code and uniform — interesting to sports fans all over the country! Steve Cirvello, an innovative web producer and the senior producer of the FDH Lounge, liked what he heard. Thankfully, he followed up and scheduled me to be on with Rick Morris, the host of their Internet radio show out of Cleveland. I love how technology and good story telling can bring people together!
Rick was very prepared and thankfully, he not only read the book, he liked it. I appreciate his thoughtful questions about my approach to interviews, the creation of a station covering the Padres, and the difficulty of losing great players to tragic endings.
Here’s the YouTube posting of the interview. It’s radio — but one picture of me to ID the voice.
Thanks for the support and give their other interviews a listen, too.
